GIRLS DONT CRY IN THE DARK
Skateboard Meets Silk
.The skate film "Girls Don’t Cry in the Dark" was shot on Kodak Super 8 50D in Germany (Leipzig), Croatia (Pula), and Switzerland (Lugano). Its unique soundscape was composed by the musician Sonya Carmona. Sound-Design by Gregor Rosenberger from DubDub Studios and Color-Grading: Jürgen Kupka von Unsere Farben.
The film features: Anna Plewa, Jeanne Lagger, Maité Steenhoudt, Claudia Riera, Léa Siffredi, Stefanie Hofer, Christina Andrighetto, Leandra Müller, Dorothe Wetter, Toni Vyshnyakova, Therese Lockwood, and Anna Gleissner.

Historically, skateboarding has been largely portrayed from a male perspective. "Falling Out Of Summer" introduces a unique perspective by featuring this female skate film and photos shot entirely on Super 8.
