I make films that move; work intuitively and think by doing. Need contact with the material to know what it wants to become.

Leave space.

Want things to breathe. Like the reduced. Less is more. And the more, I paint in colour.

Shooting on film gives me contact with material, space and time. Shaped by the texture of analogue film, the films are almost painterly in their aesthetic, and I translate single stills into different materials: silk, wood, acrylic glass or framed fine art prints. They extend the film into the room and carry the same quiet poetry as the moving image.
